Policy
Straightforward terms for individual, group and instalment bookings — no fine print designed to confuse you.
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the refund you receive depends on how far ahead of the travel date you let us know. This applies to individual, couple and family bookings.

The non-refundable portion covers advance payments we've already made to hotels, homestays and transport partners on your behalf — this isn't a fee we keep, it's money already committed to your trip.
Group bookings (10 or more travellers) work slightly differently, since stays and transport are blocked in bulk well ahead of your dates.
If you've booked using the instalment option, cancellation terms are the same as the standard table above, calculated on the total trip value — not just the instalments already paid.
Plans shift — we allow one free date change per booking, provided it's requested at least 15 days before your original travel date and the new dates are within the same season/route availability. A second date change, or a request made within 15 days of travel, is treated as a cancellation and rebooking under the policy above.
In the rare case we need to cancel a confirmed trip on our end — due to a partner property closure, safety concerns on a route, or insufficient group numbers for a batch departure — you'll receive a full refund of everything paid, or the option to move to another available route or date at no extra cost.
For cancellations caused by circumstances outside anyone's control — natural disasters, government travel restrictions, political unrest, or similar events — we'll work with you directly on a fair resolution: rescheduling, a credit toward a future trip, or a refund based on what we're able to recover from our own hotel and transport partners in that situation.
Contact us directly rather than through a form — cancellations need a real conversation, not a button click, so we can talk through options that might work better than a straight cancellation.
Refunds, once approved, are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
This policy is part of the Unbox India booking terms and may be updated from time to time. The version in effect on the date you complete a booking applies to that booking.
